Speaker: Dunarel Badescu, MD, PhD

Talk Title: How to install and run Spark on Compute Canada's servers

Abstract:

Dunarel Badescu will be showing us, hopefully with a live demonstration, how to use Spark on Guillimin, or any one of Compute Canada's servers.

For those of you unfamiliar with Spark, Spark allows you, among other advantages, to use jointly the memory of several nodes.
